Eurotech: eT-Hover-loop easily turns the world upside down

The eT-Hover-loop lifting devices series by EuroTECH helps operators turn flat loads of up to 500 kilograms easily and without compromising their health.

The eT-Hover-loop-250 and eT-Hover-loop-500 can both rotate heavy loads 180 degrees for more efficient load sorting.

The vacuum lifting devices in the eT-Hover-loop series by the vacuum specialist EuroTECH Vertriebs GmbH are used for lifting and turning vacuum-tight, flat loads such as glass panes, sheet metal and plastic or wooden boards. They add a turning function to the eT-Hover product range.

The eT-Hover product range combines simultaneously pivoting and rotating lifting devices with simpler models offering one of the two motions only. It also features devices designed specifically for transporting loads horizontally or vertically. The eT-Hover-loop series adds a 180 degree turn to this pool of useful functions.

Loads are not always delivered in the right position: often, panels must be turned manually. This requires at least two employees. The eT-Hover-loop makes 180 degree turns easy. It saves employees’ strength, protects their backs and makes their work safer. Operators can process loads fast and effectively, even if they are delivered in the wrong position.

An ergonomically shaped operating handle is used to control the eT-Hover-loop. All main functions are directly incorporated in the operating handle. The vacuum is generated by a vacuum pump with an integrated non-return valve, a vacuum reservoir and two solenoid valves for controlling the suction and aeration functions. An air blower lets operators detach the loads effortlessly. In smaller devices with a maximal load of 250 kilograms, a linear actuator performs the 180 degree turn. Larger devices in the eT-Hover-loop range use a gear motor. Some of the vacuum lifting devices in the eT-Hover-loop series are equipped with integrated batteries and can be operated without a mains connection for a certain amount of time.

The basic unit of the eT-Hover-loop devices has a modular structure and can be adapted specifically to a customer’s needs. It can be expanded to a maximal length of 8 metres. The eT-Hover-loop series devices have movable cross beams and suction plates, allowing them to be adapted precisely to individual needs.

The eT-Hover-loop-250 can turn flat loads with a weight of up to 250 kilograms and dimensions of up to 3 by 2 metres. With the eT-Hover-loop-500, an operator can turn flat loads weighing up to 500 kilograms. They can be up to 14 metres long and 1.6 metres wide. Multiple security and warning systems designed in accordance with DIN EN 13155 prevent operation errors and hazards.

Eurotech is adding their product portfolio for handling and transport technology

The ‘Nemo’ handheld sucker: a revolution on the market for handheld suckers.

Especially powerful suction that works even on rough, structured and damp surfaces.

Eurotech implements standardised and customised handling and transport solutions in the field of vacuum technology. The battery-powered, handheld vacuum sucker ‘Nemo’ is another pioneering product in Eurotech’s portfolio.

The mobile, electric, handheld ‘Nemo’ vacuum device can attach itself to almost all surfaces. It achieves a holding force of up to 170 kg, allowing to move and securely place down the material. The installed vacuum meter with a red/green area is used for monitoring. A vacuum pump integrated into the handle creates the required negative pressure. This features an economy circuit. Once the pump reaches the safe negative pressure, it is switched off. If the vacuum in the suction device drops, the pump automatically switches on again.

The ‘Nemo’ handheld sucker is a pioneering system for lifting and transporting flat items. It can lift virtually all surfaces, from smooth to structured, and is the perfect tool for a wide variety of profession.

From construction to warehousing, from service to the factory: wherever heavy lifting is the order of the day, this powerful tool minimises the risk of damaging expensive material, maximises productivity and reduces the physical workload involved.

Eurotech is constructing a new company building

Eurotech Vertriebs GmbH from Geislingen, Germany, invested 3,65 million EUR in its new building, the state government has contributed more than 400,000 EUR in funds from the ELR and EFRE development programmes to the ambitious project.

The construction of the new company building has officially got underway with the ground-breaking ceremony on 4 May, over the course of the next year, new production and storage space and a two-storey office building will be established on the 7,700-square metre plot at Maybachstraße 7, located on the site of the Dornbrunnen industrial park in Rosenfeld. Construction is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2021.

Thomas Schulz, Managing Director of company, said, “We have had to expand our physical capacities to keep up with the increased requirements of our industry and the large volume of orders we have been receiving.”

Eurotech specialises in vacuum, lifting and transport technologies. Peter Bunnenberg founded the Rosenfeld-based company in 1996; its headquarters moved to Geislingen in 2001. Over time, the company leased more and more storeys of the building it occupies. Despite the expansion of the top floor and leasing of an additional hall in Balingen, still there was a need for additional space. Eurotech spent about three years looking for a suitable building to rent – to no avail. Eventually, it decided to construct its own.

The advantages are clear: a dedicated, new building is resource-efficient, energy-efficient and offers a lot more space. These are perfect conditions for healthy and sustainable growth.

The state government of Baden-Württemberg is supporting the innovative Swabian company in its ambitious project. Its funding scheme ‘Spitze auf dem Land! Technologieführer für Baden-Württemberg’ in the rural area development programme aims to support the development and economic utilisation of new products and services.

The construction project is planned and managed by Bau-Cooperation in Offenburg, which anticipates a building period of approximately one year. The management and nearly 40 employees of Eurotech are excited to move into the new facilities soon. They are confident that the project will adhere to its intended schedule despite the coronavirus pandemic.
